STORMLORD Filming New Video

July 26, 2004

Italian "extreme epic metal" act STORMLORD are currently filming a video for the track "Under The Boards (195, M.A.)" with director Brigida Costa. "The story will speak about a psycho/medical serial killer who come out at night to stalk his victims and then trap them in his clinic of horror," the band write on their web site. "The video will be much more similar to a short movie than to a 'normal' videoclip. We won't reveal too much yet, we're eager to shock your minds in September. Just expect the most bloody and dark metal video EVER! As usual the cast will be starring David Bracci from the Sergio Stivaletti team (Dario Argento and more) for the special FX but also Giuseppe Oppedisano ('The English Patient', 'Cari Fottutissimi Amici', 'Demonium' and more...) as the insane psycho killer." "Under The Boards (195, M.A.)" (mp3) comes off the group's third album, "The Gorgon Cult", which was released in Italy in March through Scarlet Records. The follow-up to 2001's "At The Gates Of Utopia" was recorded and mixed over a two-month period at The Outer Sound Studios in Rome with engineer Giuseppe Orlando (NOVEMBRE, NECRODEATH, DGM, THY MAJESTIE) and was mastered at The Mastering Room in Sweden (IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR, OPETH, SOILWORK).
